Do you travel outside of Vancouver for weddings?

Abso-freakin-lutely! For weddings, elopements but also for other types of sessions. I love traveling and creating with my couples in new places, both in Canada and abroad – it’s what stimulates my creativity the most.

You can take a look at my current travel schedule HERE, but I’m always looking to travel more, so GET IN TOUCH even if you don’t see your town/country on the list right now and let’s see if we can make it happen!

What are your rates?

Each wedding, elopement or lifestyle session is unique, which is why I only listed the starting prices in my INVESTMENT page.

You don’t deserve to be put in a box, which is why I don’t offer fixed-price packages.

What I care about the most is giving you a great EXPERIENCE and, in order to do that, I will customise your session to fit your needs and your vision.

How many photos can we expect to get?

For engagement and lifestyle sessions you can expect to receive about 50 photos.

For weddings, it varies based on how the day unfolds. An intimate wedding with no dancing will mean fewer photos than a big event, but I always guarantee between 40 and 50 photos per hour of coverage, just so you can get an idea of what to expect.

For me, it’s all about quality over quantity. With that being said, just know that I tend to underpromise and overdeliver.

What is your shooting style?

My aim is to tell a story through images, which is why I shoot in a documentary style. This means I try to be as discreet as possible on your wedding day, in order to document the day as it unfolds, preferring candid photos to posed ones. My ultimate goal is to capture emotions. I want my photos to transport you back in time, to make you feel like you’re living those moments again every time you flip through your wedding album.

Do you work with a shot list?

I don’t work with a shot list because I feel like it takes away from the creative process and the ability to capture the events in an authentic, genuine and candid way.

However, if there are specific details, guests or traditions that are super important to you, let me know so I can make sure to photograph them.

Do you work with a second shooter?

It depends on the wedding. Though most times I work by myself (for elopements and intimate weddings, in particular), having an extra pair of eyes (and cameras) always comes in handy, especially for larger weddings with over 100 guests. Let’s chat about your wedding so I can help you decide whether to add a second shooter to your package.

What is your turnaround time?

For engagement and lifestyle sessions you can expect to receive you photos within 2-3 weeks (depending on the time of year – for example, wedding season is a busier time, which results in longer waiting times).

For weddings, I deliver the digital files through an online gallery within 12 weeks.

I know you’re gonna be excited and will want to see the photos as soon as possible after your wedding (which is why I always send a sneak peek within 7-10 days!), but I guarantee that it will be worth the wait. In my experience, rushing the editing process just to be able to send you photos before other guests who took photos on their phone is never a good idea.

Post-production is a huge part of my workflow and I spend countless hours going through every single image to make sure the quality of my work is consistent and that you will love the results.

How do we receive our photos?

Once your photos are ready, I will upload them to a password-protected online gallery. You will be able to download the whole gallery to your computer and also share the link with friends and family so they can see the photos as well.

Do you photoshop your clients?

My photography is about authenticity. I want my art to celebrate love, life and how beautiful and unique every person is. That’s why I won’t make you look taller or thinner, or make every line on your face disappear – YOU are beautiful just as you are!

I will remove temporary blemishes like bruises and acne, but I won’t remove things like scars, are part of your identity.

So, when I talk about all the time I spend on post-production, what I’m referring to is mostly culling, colour correction, cropping and adjusting other settings.

Do you take LGBTQ+ weddings?

Absolutely! As I mentioned above, my work is about authenticity, and to me that means being inclusive as well.

I don’t care what your gender, sexual orientation, race and religion are – I want to celebrate YOU. I know it sounds cheesy but I truly mean it when I say that all I see when I photograph couples is love.

How many weddings are you taking on a year?

I only take on 25 weddings/elopements a year (and a few sessions every month) to make sure I give each couple 1000% of my energy and effort.

I know what burnout is like and, considering that I personally take care of every aspect of my workflow, if I were to book more events than that, I would not be able to guarantee the quality of work I aim to deliver. This way I have time and energy to focus on my couples, but also to recharge and have some quality time to spend with my family.

I still have dates available for 2022, let’s connect!

How do we book?

After looking through my portfolio and reading about my approach and the information on my investment page, send me an inquiry and tell me about yourself.

I’ll be in touch so we can get to know each other and so we can talk a bit more about your wedding.

A 50% non-refundable retainer fee for date reservation is due upon signing the contract. The rest is due 1 month prior to the wedding.
